About Credit Scoring

Insurance companies have found a direct relationship between a person's credit score and the likelihood of an insurance claim.  Because of this information, about half of the Insurance Companies in Arizona use your credit score to help determine the type of risk and the rate they will charge. 

Some Companies have both programs.  One that doesn't consider credit and one that does.  When using our online rater, the system uses a default "good" credit score.  Your real credit score isn't obtained unless you contact us and request it.  On the credit scoring companies, your rate can be much lower or higher than the one that is displayed.  On the non scoring companies, your rate is exact unless there are additional discounts that we can apply.  Our agents are trained to be familiar with and seek out every possible discount.

Companies are continually revising products.  This chart should only be used as a guideline.
